Pad Thai was really bad- noodles undercooked and tasted SUPER fishy. Also took over 45 mins to deliver and when I called to complain they said they want to send another, and I've been waiting now over half an hour for that. Been here before and it's been OK but there are too many options in the neighborhood to resort to these guys. Go to Sura or Thai Market!

Really nice chewy hot peanuty deliciousness in the form of Pad Thai - ask for it spicy if you're looking for a kick!
Spring rolls were lightly fried w a little excess oil but not in a bad way. Yummy!

I've ordered from here many times before and had no issues. However, after tonight's delivery issue, I won't be ordering from here again. It took an hour for them to deliver the wrong order. I called and the staff said it would take about 10 min. to get our food out. Fast forward another HOUR and still no food. I called back and they said the food just went out and should be here in 15 min. Seriously. OVER TWO HOURS to get our food. Never again.

Just ordered the Tamarind Duck. First it arrived completely cold and there was nothing but fried pieces of duck and sauce. The menu states it is tamarind duck with steamed vegetables. All I received was a tiny side salad. This is not a meal worthy $14. I phoned them and was told the duck just comes with either steam vegetables or a side salad. This was not an option when ordering. She did not offer to correct the mistake.

The pad see ew is fine. The fried rice is tasteless. Quick delivery and good lunch specials.

Good tasting food, but when the cashew nuts dish has no cashews........

I got the Tofu Pra-Ram and it was, quite frankly, gross. The peanut sauce was flavorless and mostly just oil, the tofu was just cut into chunks and not cooked at all, and there were only six sad-looking broccoli florets. The Thai iced coffee had spilled all over the inside of the bag. I've had some undesirable delivery experiences in the past, but this is the first time I'll be swearing off a restaurant forever. If you want to eat something with any flavor at all, don't order from here.

DO NOT ORDER UNLESS YOU HAVE 2 HOURS TO WAIT
After 1 1/2 hours we gave up and called to cancel our order. They were very polite and did cancel the charge. The delivery man arrived a half hour after we had already canceled.

The food took two hours to arrive and they forgot an item we ordered.
The meat dishes were overcooked and very dry. The papaya salad is excellent. But nothing else hit my expectations. I won't order from Wondee again.

the portions are getting smaller and smaller it seems and the price is still the same.

This place used to be good...not really sure what happened. The food is always bland, lukewarm and the portions are tiny (especially for the price). Twice I ordered food that said it came with rice...when it arrived there was no rice so I called. They told me that the menu description was wrong...so why don't they fix their descriptions? 6.50 for a spoonful or Larb and NO rice? I don't think so...

Food was ok, the menu does not indicate which dishes are spicy. It took 1hr and 15 min for the delivery person to get here!

First time ordering here and am very happy with the outcome. Took less than 1/2 an hr to arrive. Really enjoyed my Panang curry -- the beef was okay but the curry and pineapples were delicious. My gf had the Pad See Ew and she thought it was mediocre - kind of salty & dry. I would order from again.
Posted 10 months ago by Sam T.
The orders were so small I had to send them back. In their defense, the restaurant didn't argue with me when I called and told them I wanted to return the food.

Fantastic place to order from. I get the Lemon Grass Chicken w/ Brown Rice. It's healthy and delicious.
Posted a year ago by Harry K.
We only ordered from them since the quoted delivery time was 25-40 mins (while our favorites were all 45-60). It took nearly 90 mins for the order to arrive. The pineapple fried rice had no flavor of pineapple not was it fried rice. Our pad see ew with beef was bland an dry. We will certainly not make this mistake again even if the other thai restaurant options predict 2 days longer for delivery.

No delivery of rice, even after the restaurant called and says they will deliver it.
Will NEVER recommend to anyone ordering from this restaurant again. Food portion is small, and they never deliver it right.
Update: (+1 Star)
Rice delivered 1:30 later, when every dishes ordered cooled.

I always order from here and it is always really good! this was the only time that it was disappointing. The noodles needed reheated and the veggies just looked like broccoli stems.

I have ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice.
Instead of what I ordered, I got fried rice with tomatoes.
The pineapple and cashew were missing, as well as other ingredients.
When I called the restaurant, they refused to replace the dish. (Meaning: they refused to send me what I already paid for).
They offered that next time I'll order, they will add the pineapple and cashew.
However, the dishes with and without pineapple and cashew cost exactly the same...
So, basically, they offered to me to order from them again, pay the exact sum again, and maybe this time I will get what I ordered.
When I explained that to the representative, she offered to send us later some pineapple and cashew.
If I had wanted to assemble my own dish, I would not have ordered it.
These things need to be cooked together, not to be sparkled over the rice 30 minutes later.
This shows disrespect not only to their customers, but also to the food they prepare.

I ordered the green curry (chicken) with jasmine rice. Pretty decent, not too spicy but had a kick to it. Only complaint would be that I could have done with a little more chicken in the curry.

We order from here very regularly. Always fast and 95% of the time the food is good.
Larb Gai and Beef salads, pineapple fried rice, all respectable. It's as good as Thai delivery gets on the UWS.

Delicious food, and very fast delivery. The pastry on the veggie samosa was perfect. Also had the chicken biryani, which was very flavorful with nice-size pieces of white meat chicken. The garlic naan was good, but not the best I've had. Could use a little more garlic. Overall, definitely recommend this place!

Overall quality Thai food. Sometimes the Pad Thai has a fishy taste, so might not be too veggie friendly-- But still a solid restaurant. They also deliver quickly!

Standard thai food but extremely slow delivery. Took half an hour from order to confirm and another hour -- with multiple calls -- before food arrived. Service like this defeats the purpose of Seamless.

Got the beef basil lunch special here. Very mediocre spicing and not particularly fresh ingredients. And they didn't have chili peppers in fish sauce! That's like a diner not having ketchup!

This is the first and last time I'll order from Wondee Siam V. I'd heard from a friend that it's the best Thai on the UWS, and I was studying at home so I decided to order. The food came and was the incorrect order and before I could catch the delivery guy, he was long gone. I called Wondee and they said they'd deliver the correct order and apologized. Then they called me back and then put ME on hold for 5 minutes before asking me to not eat the food I was given so they could do a switch. I was shocked. The food there is indeed great, but never, ever order delivery. Not worth the risk, IMHO.

This makes me sad because I used to much prefer Wondee Siam to Thai Kitchen across the street, but no longer. I got food poisoning from the pad thai chicken. The manager was nice about the situation, but I will definitely not be eating here any more. ;(

Some of the worst pad thai ever tasted. My boyfriend ordered the pad thai with tofu, and was actually retching after taking a few bites. Smelled terrible, tasted like it smelled. Green curry was marginally better, but I will certainly never be ordering from here again.
Delivery was fine, though- on time, polite, etc.

This rating is for the pad thai. The last two times I ordered pad thai, it was pretty awful. Some of it was way too salty, some of it was bland; not sauteed evenly at all.

Disappointing; I ordered a salmon dinner entree and both the fish and the vegetables were so greasy I could barely taste anything but the oil. Yes they are open late, but this truly must be the last resort. My special instructions on preparation of my meal were not followed. Will not reorder.

This place has the best Thai food on the UWS. Their curries are great as well as their Pad Thai. Must recommend the Green Curry! 5 Stars!

Wondee is quick and delicious. Try some of the chef's specials for some interesting new dishes (Ka Na Moo Grob is excellent).
Posted 2 years ago by James U.
One of the better Thai fares in the area (Morningside Heights), but still not the best. I often get the pineapple fried rice, but it's almost always super greasy. The spicy basil beef is the best item on the menu in my opinion.
I always ask for hot sauce on the side ,but somehow they never give it to me haha
Posted 2 years ago by Jamie L.
Fast delivery, good food, especially the ginger chicken and the pad thai, both are non-greasy and relatively authentic. If you are in the mood for Asian food that is on the lighter side, you won't be disappointed.
Posted 2 years ago by Andrew E.
This is one of my favorite Thai places on the UWS. The staff is super friendly, and the food is quality. I particularly like the pad thai, though sometimes it can be a bit greasy. However it always hits the spot. The pad see ew is good as well, and the duck salad is good too (sometimes the duck is a bit tough, so eat it as soon as you get it). All in all a great spot, and cute to dine in as well!

Unlike their original place on 9th ave in midtown west, Wondee Siam V is no match to its competitor across the street. It's good food, but it's just OK. Nothing that special. The delivery was prompt and the food was fresh though. So it's not too bad a choice after all.

Ordered from restaurant quite often and just recently delivery guy calls ahead to say come down to get food. I explained that I had a injury. They said that they did not feel comfortable delivering to my area, obviously I did not want to order from them ever again. Now they say they will deliverI assume because they don't want to lose the money. When I said no.. the guy was yelling in my ear to pay for it. I did not expect the this type of rudeness on cancelling my order. I get manager finally and he says as well that I should take it up with Seamless Web. The conversation ended with me explaining how misleading it is that they are on Seamless web delivering to my area when they don't "want to" and that it should not be the customers responsibility to know this. I also told the manager that they should at least be polite on phone about the situation. He says he will look into it further but still maintained that he would not help in canceling the charge, when calling Seamless Web they were just as shocked as I was. Misleading and honestly it's probably a good thing cause the food was way over priced for very small portions.

First time ordering, and what a nice surprise. Food arrived piping hot in less than 25 minutes, which is impressive because we are more than 10 blocks away. The duck curry was AMAZING!!!! The duck was served with very fresh fruit (grapes, pineapple) delicately cooked with a delicious curry. And good portion size. Only reason for 4 stars is because the Pad Thai was just average, a little bland and dry. And they charged $2 extra for shrimp, which in most Thai restaurants comes with as a default.
I will be ordering from them again very soon!
UPDATE March 13 2010-- Removed 1 star because:
This time I ordered massaman curry and summer roll. The massaman curry was fine although there was much more "soup" to it than contents (vegetable and beef). The big problem with this order was the summer roll. I assumed for $6 that it was 2 or 3 of the rolls (at other restaurants they are typically $1.50 to $3 per shrimp summer roll / fresh roll) but in fact they delivered 1 summer roll for $6. Rip off.

I'm a big fan of this place, but they can be uneven. I just got an avocado salad, and the avocados were so hard, they were actually crunchy. I know this isn't the season for avocados, but please, if you can't get edible produce, take it off the menu for the season!

I got the Yam Ped Yang (spicy crispy duck salad) and it was excellent. There was a bit of a mix-up with the delivery--it ended up arriving before I got home because I had ordered it about 45 minutes before I wanted it delivered--but everything worked out fine; the food was hot and DELICIOUS. I'll definitely order from there again.
